Prior to his depature The Crooked Step sat down for a great interview with Mike Portnoy which you can check out below. Mike can be seen sporting an Avenged Sevenfold shirt throughout some of it and speaks of the band (2:52-4:39) and their asking him to join them in the studio to record “Nightmare.”
