The Columbus Examiner have posted their review of the Rockstar Uproar tour stop in Columbus, OH. You can read the entire thing here. Photos from the show will be added soon.
Along with a beautiful elaborate set and lots of pyrotechnics, Avenged Sevenfold stormed the stage, on their first tour since the tragic death of drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. The band paid tribute to The Rev by displaying a huge photograph of him during part of the show. Filling in on drums was Dream Theater’s Mike Portnoy, possibly the second best drummer in the world, second only to Neil Peart. They put on the best performance of the night with their signature sound merely accentuated and not over-powered by their spectacular stage show
